1. This story moved me to tears…if you haven’t seen his video on youtube - you need to. I cry again everytime I think about how this man’s family treated him and his partner. And I know how lucky I am that my family is so open and accepting of me and my lifestyle.

    This is one of the most touching stories I’ve seen in a long time…Fight for our equality. It’s sad to say I know and have dated a couple guys who’s families feel exactly the same as the poor man in this video’s ‘inlaws’. One of those friends of mine is no longer with us for exactly that reason and shame on his family for making him feel that he was not good enough as a human being to continue to exist in this world. I will smile and cry equally everytime something makes me think of him until the day I get to see him again in the next phase of life. I talk to him all the time and feel like he still gives the best advice (even though it’s just me affirming my own gut instinct…it feels like it’s coming from him)

    Learn how to support equal marriage rights, anti-hate crime laws and other issues such as suicide within (and outside of) our community and help your fellow humans to live a happy life.

  14. 2 Days in…

    I’m shockingly proud of me…even with all the BS that’s been going on - 2 days without a single drink. =) Not like me at all…Good change I swear!!! I want a drink…I need a drink…but I’m not having a drink. If I can make it 7 days, I’ll reward myself with a mudslide at Fridays (non-alcoholic duuuhhhhh…otherwise defeating the purpose of not drinking)
